Sunday night was actually the first time he got up into a saddle and rode on a horse. Strange and totally crazy it hasn't been sooner they are in are backyard for crying out loud. Busy I guess. It was a little emotional for me. He of course absolutely loved it. Seemed so at home in the saddle. I hope that it continues. I myself am afraid of animals. I'm afraid of dogs and cats, in fact especially never liked the cats. But now I have a little boy that loves our cat Lucy and somehow I love her too now. In fact I kinda want to get him a kitten. I hope that he continues to love the horses and be brave. I want that for him. It inspires me to be brave and get back in the saddle myself. That is the deal with Kade, he brings out the better in me.

This picture is from March. Not very recent, but hey look at me I'm updating my blog. So that's a big accomplishment for me.
I'm just listening to the awesome Idaho wind trying to bust my house loose from it's foundation. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is tired of this summer weather. If it isn't snowing, bitter cold or raining cats and dogs, its blowing. What a strange year. Thats ok though we've been having fun times anyways.
